  • WHAT: Minor coastal flooding due to high astronomical tides of 7 feet and surf to 3 to 5 feet.

  • WHERE: San Diego County coastal areas and Orange County coastal areas.

  • WHEN: Through this evening.

  • IMPACTS: Areas of flooding from tidal overflow in low lying areas, boardwalks, beach parking lots, and beach adjacent streets. Beach erosion. Highest impacts expected during high tides in the evening.

  • ADDITIONAL DETAILS: A 2 foot south swell (from 190 degrees) at 13-15 seconds will lead to surf 3-5 feet at south-facing beaches. Elsewhere, surf of 2-4 feet is expected.
