At 11:32 am on July 3, 2026, the Altay Regional Meteorological Observatory issued a blue warning signal for strong winds: it is expected that from 23:00 on July 3 to 10:00 am on July 4, there will be 7-8 levels of westerly winds in most of the valleys and plains in Altay region, including Chaleshhai Township, Kokbuka, Seretier, and Muhurtai in Jimunai County, Jiangawuzi, Omartao, and Dulaiti Township in Burjin County, Zhongguanghe Wind Farm, Kalashilik Township, Sarhusong Township, Baribagai Township, and Cherkeqi Township in Altay City, Wulunguhu Lake District and Akdala Area in Fuhai County, Dure Town and Karabulgen Township in Fuyun County. The force can reach level 9, please pay attention to strengthening prevention.
1. The government and relevant departments shall do a good job in preventing strong winds according to their responsibilities; 2. Close doors and windows, reinforce structures such as enclosures, sheds, and billboards that are easily moved by the wind, properly place outdoor items that are susceptible to strong winds, and cover building materials; 3. Pedestrians should avoid riding bicycles as much as possible and avoid lingering under billboards, temporary structures, etc. when it is windy; 4. Relevant departments and units should pay attention to fire prevention in forests, grasslands, and other areas.
