  • WHERE: A portion of southeast Texas, including the following areas, Brazos, Burleson, Chambers, Coastal Harris, Grimes, Houston, Inland Harris, Madison, Montgomery, Northern Liberty, Polk, San Jacinto, Southern Liberty, Trinity, Walker, Waller and Washington.

  • WHEN: Through Sunday afternoon.

  • IMPACTS: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible.

  • ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

    • Isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected today. Any rainfall that occurs today may contribute to the ongoing flooding. The primary focus is for late tonight into Sunday with the potential for additional heavy rainfall. Additional rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches can be expected.
