The Thomson River at Camoola Park was 4.10 m at 6:00 am Tuesday. The current river level is estimated to have fallen below the moderate flood level (4.00 m) and falling. The Thomson River at Camoola Park is likely to remain above the minor flood level (2.00 m) for the remainder of Tuesday and into Wednesday. The river may fall below the minor flood level (2.00 m) Wednesday afternoon. The Thomson River at Longreach is currently at 5.88 m and steady, with major flooding. The Thomson River at Longreach is likely to remain above the major flood level (5.30 m) until at least mid-week. The Thomson River at Stonehenge is currently at 2.55 m and steady, with minor flooding. Renewed river level rises are likely from as early as late Tuesday as upstream flows arrive. The river level may exceed the moderate flood level (3.00 m) from Wednesday, with further rises to the major flood level (5.00 m) possible later in the week.
