  • WHAT: Long duration very cold temperatures in the 40s and 50s below zero to around 60 below zero in coldest locations.

  • WHERE: Fortymile Country, Upper Tanana Valley, and Yukon Flats.

  • WHEN: Until 3 PM AKST Monday.

  • IMPACTS: Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures. Very cold temperatures and wind chills can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.
