FURTHER FLOODING POSSIBLE ACROSS PARTS OF THE NORTH EAST PASTORAL DISTRICT CATCHMENTS A low pressure system and trough over the north-east of the state will continue to move north-eastwards, bringing further moderate to heavy rainfall. These systems are expected to clear the state by Thursday. Catchments in the Flood Watch area are moderately wet and are likely to respond quickly to rainfall. Forecast rainfall may cause further river and creek level rises, prolonged overland flooding, and ponding. Roads access may be affected, and some communities and homesteads may become isolated. Check road conditions before travelling.
