ประเทศไทยตอนบนจะมีฝนฟ้าคะนอง ลมกระโชกแรง และฝนตกหนักบางพื้นที่ โดยจะมีฝนตกหนักบางแห่งบริเวณภาคเหนือและภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือก่อน หลังจากนั้นจะส่งผลกระทบกับภาคกลาง รวมทั้งกรุงเทพมหานครและปริมณฑล และภาคตะวันออกในระยะถัดไป ทั้งนี้เนื่องจากมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้พัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน และประเทศไทย ในขณะที่ยังคงมีลมใต้และลมตะวันออกเฉียงใต้พัดปกคลุมภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนล่าง ภาคตะวันออก และอ่าวไทย ประกอบกับบริเวณความกดอากาศสูงหรือมวลอากาศเย็นจากประเทศจีนได้แผ่ลงมาปกคลุมบริเวณประเทศเวียดนามตอนบนแล้ว คาดว่าจะเคลื่อนเข้าปกคลุมภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนบนในคืนวันนี้ (4 ต.ค. 69) สำหรับทะเลอันดามันและอ่าวไทย บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองจะมีคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร อนึ่ง ในช่วงวันที่ 9-13 ต.ค. 69 ภาคตะวันออก ภาคกลาง รวมทั้งกรุงเทพมหานครและปริมณฑล และภาคใต้ จะมีฝนเพิ่มขึ้น โดยมีฝนตกหนักถึงหนักมากบางแห่ง เนื่องจากบริเวณความกดอากาศสูงหรือมวลอากาศเย็นจากประเทศจีนอีกระลอกหนึ่งจะแผ่เสริมลงมาปกคลุมภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือและทะเลจีนใต้ ส่งผลทำให้ร่องมรสุมเลื่อนลงมาพาดผ่านภาคตะวันออกและภาคใต้ตอนบน ประกอบกับมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้กำลังปานกลางพัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน ประเทศไทย และอ่าวไทย
ขอให้ประชาชนในบริเวณดังกล่าวระวังอันตรายจากฝนฟ้าคะนอง ลมกระโชกแรง และฝนตกหนักที่อาจจะเกิดขึ้นในบางพื้นที่ ชาวเรือควรตรวจสอบเส้นทางและเดินเรือด้วยความระมัดระวัง รวมทั้งหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินเรือในบริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนอง ในระยะนี้ขอให้ประชาชนติดตามข่าวพยากรณ์อากาศอย่างใกล้ชิด และเฝ้าระวังอันตรายจากฝนตกหนักถึงหนักมากและฝนที่ตกสะสม ซึ่งอาจทำให้เกิดน้ำท่วมฉับพลันและน้ำป่าไหลหลากได้
The southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf while the southerly and the southeasterly wind prevails over the lower Northeast, the East and the Gulf. The high-pressure system from China that has already extended over upper Vietnam, it is expected to move cover the upper Northeastern region tonight (October 4, 2026) with thundershowers and gusty wind including lightning strikes in the upper country and isolated heavy rains in the lower South. For the Andaman Sea and the Gulf, waves will be higher than 2 meters high in thundershower areas. In addition, during 9-13 October 2026, the another high pressure system from China will extend to cover the Northeast and the South China Sea leading to the monsoon trough move down to lies across the East, the upper South. Meanwhile the moderate southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. More rain with isolated heavy to very heavy rains are forecast in the East, the Central including Bangkok and vicinity and the South.
People in the country should beware of thundershowers with gusty wind and heavy rains. In addition, people should avoid staying in open areas, under large trees, or near unstable billboards. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf should keep off thundershowers. During this period, people are advised to closely monitor weather forecasts and people in the affected areas should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulated rains that may cause flash floods, overflows and landslides especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands.
