ประเทศไทยตอนบนยังคงมีฝนตกหนักบางแห่ง โดยเฉพาะภาคเหนือ ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ และภาคกลางตอนบน เนื่องจากร่องมรสุมพาดผ่านภาคเหนือ และภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนบน ประกอบกับมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้กำลังปานกลางพัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน ประเทศไทย และอ่าวไทย สำหรับคลื่นลมบริเวณทะเลอันดามันและอ่าวไทยมีกำลังปานกลาง โดยทะเลอันดามันตอนบนมีคลื่นสูงประมาณ 2 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร อนึ่ง ในช่วงวันที่ 8 - 13 ก.ย. 69 ประเทศไทยจะมีฝนเพิ่มขึ้นกับมีฝนตกหนักหลายพื้นที่ และมีฝนตกหนักมากบางแห่ง โดยจะเริ่มในภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือก่อน ส่วนภาคอื่นๆ จะได้รับผลกระทบในระยะถัดไป เนื่องจากร่องมรสุมจะเลื่อนลงมาพาดผ่านประเทศไทยตอนบน ประกอบกับมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้ที่พัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน ประเทศไทย และอ่าวไทยมีกำลังปานกลาง ในช่วงวันที่ 9 - 11 ก.ย.
ขอให้ประชาชนในบริเวณดังกล่าวระวังอันตรายจากฝนตกหนักถึงหนักมากและฝนที่ตกสะสมซึ่งอาจทำให้เกิดน้ำท่วมฉับพลันและน้ำป่าไหลหลาก โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ตามลุ่มน้ำโขง พื้นที่ลาดเชิงเขาใกล้ทางน้ำไหลผ่าน และพื้นที่ลุ่ม ควรหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินทางผ่านเส้นทางที่มีปัญหาน้ำท่วมซ้ำซาก โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ลุ่มต่ำซึ่งอาจเกิดน้ำท่วมขังในระยะสั้นได้ ชาวเรือบริเวณทะเลอันดามันและอ่าวไทยเดินเรือด้วยความระมัดระวัง และหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินเรือในบริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนอง ประชาชนในบริเวณภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนล่าง ภาคกลางรวมทั้งกรุงเทพมหานคร และปริมณฑล ภาคตะวันออก และภาคใต้ตอนบน ระวังอันตรายจากฝนตกหนักถึงหนักมากและฝนที่ตกสะสมซึ่งอาจทำให้เกิดน้ำท่วมฉับพลัน น้ำป่าไหลหลาก โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ลาดเชิงเขาใกล้ทางน้ำไหลผ่าน และพื้นที่ลุ่ม ควรหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินทางผ่านเส้นทางที่มีปัญหาน้ำท่วมซ้ำซาก โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ลุ่มต่ำซึ่งอาจเกิดน้ำท่วมขังในระยะสั้นได้
The monsoon trough lies across the North and the upper Northeast while the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf.
