บริเวณประเทศไทยตอนบนจะมีสภาพอากาศแปรปรวน โดยมีลักษณะของฝนฟ้าคะนอง ลมกระโชกแรง และมีลูกเห็บตกบางแห่ง รวมถึงอาจมีฟ้าผ่าเกิดขึ้นได้บางพื้นที่ และมีฝนตกหนักถึงหนักมากบางแห่ง ทั้งนี้เนื่องจากบริเวณความกดอากาศสูงหรือมวลอากาศเย็นจากประเทศจีนได้แผ่ลงมาปกคลุมบริเวณภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนบนแล้ว คาดว่า จะแผ่ลงมาปกคลุมภาคเหนือและภาคกลางในวันนี้ (5 ตุลาคม 2569) ประกอบกับลมตะวันออกและลมตะวันออกเฉียงใต้พัดนำความชื้นจากทะเลจีนใต้และอ่าวไทยเข้ามาปกคลุมประเทศไทยตอนบน ในขณะที่มรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้พัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน และประเทศไทย สำหรับทะเลอันดามันและอ่าวไทย บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองจะมีคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร
ขอให้ประชาชนระวังอันตรายจากฝนฟ้าคะนอง ลมกระโชกแรง ฝนตกหนักและฝนตกสะสม ซึ่งอาจทำให้เกิดน้ำท่วมฉับพลันและน้ำป่าไหลหลาก โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ลาดเชิงเขาใกล้ทางน้ำไหลผ่านและพื้นที่ลุ่ม โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ลุ่มต่ำซึ่งอาจเกิดน้ำท่วมขังได้รวมทั้งควรหลีกเลี่ยงการอยู่ในที่โล่งแจ้ง ใต้ต้นไม้ใหญ่ และป้ายโฆษณาที่ไม่แข็งแรง ชาวเรือควรตรวจสอบเส้นทางและเดินเรือด้วยความระมัดระวัง รวมทั้งหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินเรือในบริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนอง อนึ่ง ในช่วงวันที่ 9-13 ต.ค. 69 ภาคตะวันออก ภาคกลาง รวมทั้งกรุงเทพมหานครและปริมณฑล และภาคใต้ จะมีฝนเพิ่มขึ้น โดยมีฝนตกหนักถึงหนักมากบางแห่ง เนื่องจากบริเวณความกดอากาศสูงหรือมวลอากาศเย็นจากประเทศจีนอีกระลอกหนึ่งจะแผ่เสริมลงมาปกคลุมภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือและทะเลจีนใต้ ส่งผลทำให้ร่องมรสุมเลื่อนลงมาพาดผ่านภาคตะวันออกและภาคใต้ตอนบน ประกอบกับมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้กำลังปานกลางพัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน ประเทศไทย และอ่าวไทย ในระยะนี้ขอให้ประชาชนติดตามข่าวพยากรณ์อากาศอย่างใกล้ชิด และเฝ้าระวังอันตรายจากฝนตกหนักถึงหนักมากและฝนที่ตกสะสม ซึ่งอาจทำให้เกิดน้ำท่วมฉับพลันและน้ำป่าไหลหลากได้
The high-pressure system from China extendeds to cover the upper Northeastern region, expected to covers the North and the Central by today (5 October 2026) with the easterly and the southeasterly wind brings moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf to the country while the southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea and Thailand. Thundershowers and gusty wind with hail including lightning strikes are likely in the upper country. For the Andaman Sea and the Gulf, waves will be higher than 2 meters high in thundershower areas.
People in the country should beware of the severe condition and accumulated rain that may cause flash flood and overflows, especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands with gusty winds and lighting strikes by keeping off outdoor places, big trees and unsecured billboards. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf should keep off thundershowers. In addition, during 9-13 October 2026, the another high pressure system from China will extend to cover the Northeast and the South China Sea leading to the monsoon trough move down to lies across the East, the upper South. Meanwhile the moderate southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. More rain with isolated heavy to very heavy rains are forecast in the East, the Central including Bangkok and vicinity and the South. During this period, people are advised to closely monitor weather forecasts and people in the affected areas should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulated rains that may cause flash floods, overflows and landslides especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands.
