Northwest winds gusting from 30 to 35 mph along with relative humidity values from 20 to 25 percent will exist across portions of central and northeast South Dakota and west central Minnesota the remainder of this afternoon into early evening. With dry fuels in place, any fires that develop could spread quickly. Conditions will improve closer to sunset. Consider postponing burning due to the high grassland fire danger.
