ภาคใต้มีฝนตกหนักบางแห่ง ส่วนประเทศไทยตอนบนมีฝนลดลง แต่ยังคงมีฝนฟ้าคะนองบางพื้นที่ส่วนมากบริเวณด้านตะวันตกของภาคเหนือและภาคกลาง และตอนล่างของภาคตะวันออก ทั้งนี้เนื่องจากบริเวณความกดอากาศสูงหรือมวลอากาศเย็นจากประเทศจีนปกคลุมประเทศไทยตอนบนแล้ว ในขณะที่มีลมฝ่ายตะวันออกพัดปกคลุม อ่าวไทย และภาคใต้ สำหรับทะเลอันดามันและอ่าวไทย บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองจะมีคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร อนึ่ง ในช่วงวันที่ 9-13 ต.ค. 69 ภาคตะวันออก ภาคกลาง รวมทั้งกรุงเทพมหานครและปริมณฑล และภาคใต้ จะมีฝนเพิ่มขึ้น โดยมีฝนตกหนักถึงหนักมาก บางแห่ง เนื่องจากบริเวณความกดอากาศสูงหรือมวลอากาศเย็นอีกระลอกหนึ่งจากประเทศจีนจะแผ่เสริมลงมาปกคลุมภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือและทะเลจีนใต้ ส่งผลทำให้ ร่องมรสุมเลื่อนลงมาพาดผ่านภาคตะวันออกและภาคใต้ตอนบน ประกอบกับมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้กำลังปานกลางพัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน ประเทศไทย และอ่าวไทย
ขอให้ประชาชนบริเวณภาคใต้ระวังอันตรายจากฝนตกหนัก และฝนที่ตกสะสม ซึ่งอาจทำให้เกิดน้ำท่วมฉับพลันและน้ำป่าไหลหลาก โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ลาดเชิงเขาใกล้ทางน้ำไหลผ่านและพื้นที่ลุ่ม โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ลุ่มต่ำซึ่งอาจเกิดน้ำท่วมขังได้ ชาวเรือควรตรวจสอบเส้นทางและเดินเรือด้วยความระมัดระวัง รวมทั้งหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินเรือในบริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองไว้ด้วย
The high-pressure system from China covers upper Thailand while the easterly wind prevails over the Gulf and the South. Isolated heavy rains are forecast in the South while less rains and isolated thundershowers are forecast in the upper country especially in the western part of the North and the Central and the East regions. For the Andaman Sea and the Gulf, waves will be higher than 2 meters high in thundershower areas. In addition, during 9-13 October 2026, the another high pressure system from China will extend to cover the Northeast and the South China Sea leading to the monsoon trough move down to lies across the East, the upper South. Meanwhile the moderate southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. More rain with isolated heavy to very heavy rains are forecast in the East, the Central including Bangkok and vicinity and the South.
People in the South beware of heavy rains and accumulations that may cause flash flood and overflows, especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. All ships should keep off thundershowers.
