- At 1207 PM EDT, Additional heavy showers will move across the advised area throughout the early afternoon and a quick additional inch of rain will be possible. Lingering high water conditions and elevated streamflows will persist. There remains the likelihood of flooding of low lying areas along Second, Third and Fourth creeks, as well as Grants and Town Creeks.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include, Kannapolis, Salisbury, Mooresville, China Grove, Spencer, Landis, Enochville, Granite Quarry, Rockwell, Cleveland, Faith, High Rock Lake, Lake Norman State Park, Lake Norman, Piedmont Research Station, Woodleaf, Mount Ulla, Gold Hill and Doolie.
