Under present weather conditions, At 3:00 AM today, the center of the eye of Super Typhoon "FRANCISCO" {MEKKHALA} was estimated based on all available data at 420 km East of Aparri, Cagayan (18.5°N, 125.6°E) with maximum sustained winds of 185 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 230 km/h. It is moving West Northwestward at 10 km/h. Southwest Monsoon affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The 12-hour rainfall forecast is Isolated light rains or thunderstorms.
