Until Tomorrow 21:00 (1 day from now)
Official warning explanations:

The Ministry of Environment and Tourism through the Department of Meteorological Services wishes to alert the public on the possibility of scattered thundershowers or rains which might lead to flooding over some areas of the country. These conditions will be triggered by an inflow of tropical moisture coupled with instability at medium levels of the atmosphere. Heavy falls 50 millimeters or more are expected to occur over Southern, Southeast, Kgatleng, Kweneng, Southern Central and Northeast districts from 14th to 15th March 2026.

Instructions:

Considering the expected scattered rains, the public is advised to take the precautionary measures to stay safe from the likely impacts of the conditions. Precautionary measures include moving to higher ground immediately if you are in a flood prone area and avoiding driving through floodwaters. The Department of Meteorological Services will continue to monitor the situation as it unfolds and will provide updates when the need arises.
