IMPACTS: Flooding of creeks and normally dry washes is imminent or occurring. Dangerous flooding over low-water crossings.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- At 1117 AM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms in the Brown and Silver Creek drainages. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen over a broad area.
- This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers, Silver Creek, Brown Creek, Rocky Arroyo and Concho Flat Wash. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include, Taylor, Shumway and Snowflake.
- This includes the following highways, Highway 60 between mile markers 345 and 357. State Route 61 between mile markers 353 and 356. State Route 277 near mile marker 336. State Route 77 between mile markers 349 and 367.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Low water crossings will become dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.

WHERE: Portions of north central and northeastern Arizona, including areas from Flagstaff to St. John's and areas northward.

IMPACTS: Flooding will be possible over burn areas, low-water crossings, creeks, streams, washes and swimming holes. Some larger creeks and rivers are expected to exceed bankfull. Flooding of paved roads and highway underpasses will be possible. Unpaved roads could become muddy and impassable.

- Low pressure will interact with tropical moisture to produce numerous showers and embedded thunderstorms, with heavy rain that will fall over saturated soils and burn scars. This could lead to flash flooding and rises on streams and rivers.
