  • WHAT: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

  • WHERE: Northwestern Glacier County in north central Montana,

  • WHEN: Until 430 PM MDT Wednesday.

  • IMPACTS: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

  • ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

    • At 429 PM MDT, local law enforcement reported ongoing flooding in the warned area.
    • Flooding impacts due to Swift Creek overflowing its banks will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected.
    • Some locations that will experience flooding include, Many Glacier and adjacent areas.

It is important to know where you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become killers in heavy rains. Boaters, campers, and hikers should avoid using or going near streams or creeks.
