Kashmir: Rain-wind/thundershower (with isolated heavyfalls) is expected in (Neelum valley, Muzaffarabad, Rawalakot, Poonch, Hattian, Bagh, Haveli, Sudhanoti, Kotli, Bhimber, Mirpur) from 28th August (evening/night) to 06th September with occasional gaps. Islamabad/Upper Punjab: Rain-wind/thundershower (with isolated heavyfalls) is expected in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree, Galliyat, Jhelum, Chakwal, Talagang, Attock, Lahore, Sialkot, Sheikhupura, Narowal, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Wazirabad and Hafizabad from 29th August to 05th September, while in Kasur, Okara, Nankana Sahib, Sargodha, Khushab, Mianwali, Noorpur Thal , Faisalabad, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Layyah, Bhakkar, Sahiwal and Pakpattan from 01st September to 05th September with occasional gaps. Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa: Rain-wind/thundershower (with isolated heavyfalls) is expected in (Peshawar, Dir, Chitral, Swat, Kohistan, Malakand, Mardan, Nowshera, Charsadda, Swabi, Shangla, Battagram, Buner, Kohat, Hangu, Kurram, Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Orakzai, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur from 29th August to 05th September, while in Karak, Tank, Lakki Marwat, D.I Khan, Bannu, Waziristan from 01st September to 04th September with occasional gaps. Gilgit-Baltistan: Rain-wind/thundershower is expected in Diamir, Astore, Ghizer, Skardu, Hunza, Gilgit, Ghanche, Shigar from 30th August to 06th September with occasional gaps. Sindh/Balochistan: Mainly hot and humid weather to prevail in most parts during the forecast period.

Instructions:

• Heavy rains may cause Urban flooding in low lying areas of Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Mardan, Swabi, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Sialkot and Lahore from 31st August to 05th September. • Heavy rain may cause flash flooding in local streams/ Nullahs in Kashmir, Murree, Galliyat, Islamabad and Rawalpindi during the forecast period. • Landslides may occur in hilly areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Murree, Galliyat and Kashmir during the forecast period. • Tourists and travelers are advised to remain cautious during the forecast period. • Farmers are advised to manage their crop activities keeping in view the weather conditions.
