ประเทศไทยมีฝนฟ้าคะนอง และฝนตกหนักบางแห่ง บริเวณภาคเหนือ ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนบน และภาคตะวันออก เนื่องจากมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้กำลังปานกลางพัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน ประเทศไทย และอ่าวไทย ประกอบกับมีหย่อมความกดอากาศต่ำปกคลุมบริเวณประเทศเวียดนามตอนบน สำหรับคลื่นลมบริเวณทะเลอันดามันตอนบนมีกำลังปานกลาง โดยมีคลื่นสูง 1-2 เมตร ส่วนทะเลอันดามันตอนล่างและอ่าวไทยมีคลื่นสูงประมาณ 1 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร
ขอให้ประชาชนในบริเวณดังกล่าวเตรียมพร้อมระวังอันตรายจากฝนตกหนักและฝนที่ตกสะสม ซึ่งอาจทำให้เกิดน้ำท่วมฉับพลันและน้ำป่าไหลหลาก โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่เสี่ยงใกล้ทางน้ำไหลผ่านและพื้นที่ลุ่ม ชาวเรือบริเวณทะเลอันดามันและอ่าวไทยเดินเรือด้วยความระมัดระวัง และหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินเรือในบริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองไว้ด้วย
