The Current moderate rainfall over parts of the Logone and Chari Division of the Far North Region is expected to intensify and extend to most of the Lake Chad basin area and environs and the Far North at large, exposing these areas to an average risk of flooding in low-lying and flood-prone areas.
Inhabitants are advised to be aware of the risk, avoid drainage channels, river channels, and flood-prone zones, stay on high ground, and remain vigilant.
