HEAVY RAINFALL which may lead to FLASH FLOODING is forecast to develop about the pastoral districts and northern parts of the Flinders district from Saturday morning. Six-hourly rainfall totals between 20 and 50 mm are likely with localised totals up to 75 mm possible with thunderstorm activity. Conditions are likely to begin to ease from the west during late Sunday evening or Monday morning. Flash flooding may make roads impassable through northeastern parts of the state. Locations which may be affected include Leigh Creek, Moomba, Oodnadatta, Marree, Dalhousie Springs and Arkaroola.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should: * Don't drive, ride or walk through flood water; * Keep clear of creeks and storm drains; * Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are severe.
