Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.

IMPACTS: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Storm drains and ditches may become clogged with debris.

- Additional heavy rainfall will be possible through the morning hours. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts of up to 5 inches possible. This may lead to flash flooding, especially in urban and poor drainage areas.
