Lock-down measures are being lifted stepwise in Switzerland and Germany, as Covid-19 disease spread has slowed to an acceptable minimum, thanks to broad compliance with the rules. This is encouraging and gives hope that this development will continue in the coming weeks and months, and that summer time will reduce infection potential (see publications). At meteoblue, we are returning to normal office operations, with sufficient physical distancing and hygienic measures, of course, and the required protective measures in the office and in public transport.
The weeks of lock-down have also shown us some advantages of working from home, such as more concentration on subjects, an imrpoved feedback form, and has brought to light unexpected ideas, such as virtual training sessions and virtual coffee meetings. We aim to transport these into the future.
We would like to thank our employees specifically for their engagement during the last weeks supporting the ongoing operations with their entire work-force, and wish all of you good health.
