Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, showers and strong northwesterly winds are expected during Wednesday. Areas likely to be affected include parts of the South East forecast district. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.
DAMAGING NORTHWESTERLY WINDS averaging 60 to 70 km/h with peak gusts around 100 km/h are possible over the south and may extend further north along the west coast to the Strahan area with the approach of the front during Wednesday morning. Elevated and exposed areas may see wind gusts reaching 120 km/h. Winds are expected to ease below warning thresholds on Wednesday afternoon. Locations which may be affected include Strahan.

- Supervise children closely.
- Check that family and neighbours are aware of warnings.
- Manage pets and livestock.
- Secure outdoor items including furniture and play equipment.
- Be prepared in case of power outages and report any outages to TasNetworks on 132 004.
- Beware of damaged trees and power lines and take care when driving.
