Happy New Year

meteoblue wishes all users a Happy and Healthy New Year 2020!

This year we introduced different website features and improvements such as highest resolution satellite images. Some of the highlights we want to share with you.

According to the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) 2019 concludes a decade of exceptional global heat and high-impact weather. The global average temperature in 2019 (January - October) was about 1.1˚C above the pre-industrial period (1850 - 1900). A main impact of climate change is the increase of extreme weather events such as tropical storms. In 2019 the global tropical cyclone activity was slightly above average. Hurricane Dorian was one of the year's most intense tropical cyclones, making landfall with category 5 intensity on the Bahamas.

meteoblue has helped make those events visible to all, along with the hourly weather every day at every place on Earth, with free public access to a wealth of weather information.

We thank all our customers and visitors for their trust, suggestions, and support, and we look forward to providing you with top quality weather services in 2020.
