MENA Climate Proof Forum Dubai

At the MENA Climate Proof Forum in Dubai, we presented our City Climate offer, which focuses on climate resilience in urban areas.

The first MENA Climate Proof Forum took place in Dubai from 2024-10-28 to 2024-10-29, bringing together over 250 climate experts, government officials, business leaders, and sustainability advocates from across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

The event focused on building climate resilience in a vulnerable region and served as a platform to discuss innovative solutions to mitigate the impact of climate change.

We met with many decision-makers and policy-makers, and presented our extensive range of solutions:

  • High-resolution urban maps for real-time assessment and forecasting of urban climate.
  • Air quality: We have seen interest in the PM10 data (which reflects air pollution from desert dust and mining). Air quality data are shown on our weather maps and air quality meteogram.
  • Flooding: Especially after the last flood in April 2024. Our climate risk assessments are particularly helpful in analysing the risk of potential flood events in the future until 2100.

We are pleased with this new insight and market information and look forward to building new relationships.
