Overnight minimum temperatures in the low to high twenties, reaching the low thirties far inland over the Channel Country. Severe heatwave conditions will continue and extend through most of southern QLD and are expected to persist well into this week. Locations likely to be impacted include Brisbane Metropolitan Area, Birdsville, Charleville, Dalby, Goondiwindi, Longreach, Roma, Stanthorpe, Thargomindah and Toowoomba.
