At least another significant water level fall and rise is expected between 2:30 AM and 6:30 AM. Largest changes in water levels,up to 3 feet or more,can be expected on upper portions of the river from Point Iroquois to the locks at Sault Ste. Marie. Water level changes up to one foot can be expected from below the Soo Locks to Munuscong Lake.
Mariners should be aware of rapidly rising and falling water levels,particularly for operators above the Soo Locks. Be sure to monitor marine radio for information on this situation.
