Flooding of low lying land and roads is possible over the next few days. The forecast for this week remains unsettled, with the potential for heavy showers at times. River levels are expected to remain high and will be sensitive to further rainfall. We are closely monitoring the situation. Avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. - Avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water - 30 cm of fast-flowing water can move a car and 6 inches can knock an adult off their feet.
- Flood water is dangerous and may be polluted. Wash your hands thoroughly if you’ve been in contact with it.
