IMPACTS: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

- Enhanced tropical moisture will continue to pool across South Florida this week. This will result in periods of heavy rain. High rainfall rates and slow moving storms will result in flooding concerns, especially in urban and poor drainage locations. Additional rainfall totals through Wednesday evening are forecast to be 4-6 inches across Southwest Florida and interior South Florida, and 2-4 inches over the East Coast metro, with locally higher amounts possible. When combined with previous rainfall, this will result in storm totals through Wednesday evening of 5-9 inches across interior South Florida and southwest Florida, and 3-5 inches across the East Coast metro. Additional heavy rain is possible later in the week.
