The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Illinois,Indiana
Wabash River from Lafayette to Riverton.
- Lowland flooding will continue along the Wabash River this week. The crest is just past Terre Haute, and is forecast to reach Riverton on Friday. Minor flooding should end on Friday at Lafayette, but continue into Monday downriver at Hutsonville and Riverton.
Rain chances will move in to end the week, but amounts are not expected to make an impact on area rivers. A more active pattern arriving next week could bring additional rises to area rivers.

There is an elevated fire weather threat Thursday afternoon due to diurnal mixing promoting minimum RH values generally around 25 to 30 percent, drying fuels, and southwesterly wind gusts between 15 to 30 mph. Limit outdoor burning if possible and exercise caution.
