ประเทศไทยมีฝนตกต่อเนื่อง และมีฝนตกหนักบางแห่ง โดยมีฝนตกหนักมากบางพื้นที่บริเวณภาคเหนือ ภาคกลาง และภาคใต้ฝั่งตะวันตก เนื่องจากมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้กำลังค่อนข้างแรงพัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน ประเทศไทย และอ่าวไทย ประกอบกับ ร่องมรสุมพาดผ่านภาคเหนือภาคกลางตอนบน และภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนล่าง เข้าสู่หย่อมความกดอากาศต่ำบริเวณชายฝั่งประเทศเวียดนามตอนกลาง สำหรับคลื่นลมบริเวณทะเลอันดามันตอนบน ตั้งแต่จังหวัดภูเก็ตขึ้นมามีกำลังค่อนข้างแรง โดยมีคลื่นสูง 2-3 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 3 เมตร ส่วนทะเลอันดามันตอนล่าง ตั้งแต่จังหวัดกระบี่ลงไป มีคลื่นสูงประมาณ 2 เมตร และอ่าวไทยตอนบนมีคลื่นสูง 1-2 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร
ขอให้ประชาชนบริเวณประเทศไทยเตรียมพร้อมระวังอันตรายจากฝนตกหนักถึงหนักมากและฝนที่ตกสะสม ซึ่งอาจทำให้เกิดน้ำท่วมฉับพลันและน้ำป่าไหลหลาก โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่เสี่ยงใกล้ทางน้ำไหลผ่านและพื้นที่ลุ่มไว้ด้วย ขอให้ชาวเรือเดินเรือด้วยความระมัดระวังและหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินเรือในบริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนอง ส่วนเรือเล็กบริเวณทะเลอันดามันตอนบนควรงดออกจากฝั่งในระยะนี้ไว้ด้วย
The rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf while the monsoon trough lies across the North, the upper Central and the lower Northeast into the low-pressure cell over the coast of middle Vietnam with heavy rain in the country and isolated very heavy rains are possible in the North, the Central and the South regions (west coast). The rather strong wind forces the waves in the upper Andaman Sea from Phuket northward up to be 2–3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. In the lower Andaman Sea from Krabi downward, the waves are expected about 2 meters high, 1-2 meters high in the upper Gulf and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
People in Thailand should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and its accumulation that may cause flash flood and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, small boats in the upper Andaman Sea keep ashore.
