In northeast New Mexico, Northeast Highlands. In northwest New Mexico, Chuska Mountains and Northwest Plateau. In west central New Mexico, West Central Mountains and West Central Plateau.

  • WHEN: Through late tonight.

  • IMPACTS: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

    • Heavy rainfall impacted the southern portions of the Hermits Peak-Calf Canyon wildfire burn scar Wednesday and Wednesday night with flooding already being observed yesterday. This will exacerbate the flooding threat over the burn scar today and tonight.
