The rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over western of the North and the Central of Thailand while the southerly and southeasterly winds prevail over the lower Northeast, the East, the lower Central, the South and the Gulf with thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in western of the North and the Central. The moderated wind and waves in the upper Andaman Sea are likely about 2 meters high, 1–2 meters high in the lower Andaman Sea and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. In the Gulf, the waves have about 1 meter high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. In addition, the tropical cyclone “Remal” over upper Bay of Bangal is expected to make landfall over Bangladesh during 26-27 May. The tropical storm “Ewiniar” over middle Philippines is expected to move to Pacific. Thease storms is no direct effect on Thailand’s weather.
People in the areas should beware of heavy rains that may cause flash floods and overflows especially along waterways and lowlands. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers areas.
พยากรณ์อากาศ 24 ชั่วโมงข้างหน้า มรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้ที่พัดปกคลุมด้านตะวันตกของภาคเหนือ และภาคกลางยังคงมีกำลังค่อนข้างแรง ประกอบกับมีลมใต้และลมตะวันออกเฉียงใต้พัดปกคลุมภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนล่าง ภาคตะวันออก ภาคกลางตอนล่าง ภาคใต้ และอ่าวไทย ทำให้ประเทศไทยยังคงมีฝนฟ้าคะนอง และมีฝนตกหนักบางแห่งบริเวณด้านตะวันตกของภาคเหนือและภาคกลาง สำหรับคลื่นลมบริเวณทะเลอันดามันและอ่าวไทยมีกำลังปานกลาง โดยทะเลอันดามันตอนบนมีคลื่นสูงประมาณ 2 เมตร ส่วนทะเลอันดามันตอนล่างมีคลื่นสูง 1–2 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร สำหรับอ่าวไทยมีคลื่นสูงประมาณ 1 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 1 เมตร อนึ่ง พายุไซโคลน “ริมาล” บริเวณอ่าวเบงกอลตอนบน คาดว่าจะเคลื่อนขึ้นฝั่งบริเวณประเทศบังคลาเทศในช่วงวันที่ 26–27 พ.ค. 67 ส่วนพายุโซนร้อน “เอวิเนียร์” บริเวณตอนกลางของประเทศฟิลิปปินส์ มีแนวโน้มการเคลื่อนตัวไปทางมหาสมุทรแปซิฟิกในช่วงวันที่ 27–31 พ.ค. 67 โดยพายุทั้งสองนี้ไม่มีผลกระทบโดยตรงต่อลักษณะอากาศของประเทศไทย
ขอให้ประชาชนในบริเวณดังกล่าวระวังอันตรายจากฝนตกหนักและฝนที่ตกสะสม ซึ่งอาจทำให้เกิดน้ำท่วมฉับพลันและน้ำป่าไหลหลาก โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ลาดเชิงเขาใกล้ทางน้ำไหลผ่านและพื้นที่ลุ่มไว้ด้วย ขอให้ชาวเรือบริเวณทะเลอันดามันและอ่าวไทยเดินเรือด้วยความระมัดระวังและหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินเรือในบริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองไว้ด้วย
