A tropical cyclone will affect the locality. Winds of 39-61 kph or intermittent rains may be expected within 36 hours. “INDAY” SLIGHTLY ACCELERATES WHILE MOVING NORTHWESTWARD TOWARDS THE SOUTHERN ISLANDS OF JAPAN Location of eye/center : The center of Typhoon INDAY was estimated based on all available data at at 485 km East Northeast of Itbayat, Batanes (23.0, 125.9). Strength : Maximum winds of 140 kph near the centerand gustiness of up to 170 kph. Forecast movement : Forecast to move Northwestward at 25 kph Forecast position : Jul 11, 2026 08:00 AM - 540 km North Northeast of Itbayat, Batanes (OUTSIDE PAR) Jul 11, 2026 08:00 PM - 715 km North of Itbayat, Batanes (OUTSIDE PAR) HAZARDS AFFECTING LAND AREAS Heavy Rainfall Outlook Refer to Weather Advisory No. 18 issued at 11:00 PM today for the heavy rainfall outlook due to the Southwest Monsoon. Severe Winds The wind signals warn the public of the general wind threat over an area due to the tropical cyclone. Local winds may be slightly stronger/enhanced in coastal and upland/mountainous areas exposed to winds. Winds are less strong in areas sheltered from the prevailing wind direction. Minor to moderate impacts from gale-force winds are possible within any of the areas under Wind Signal No. 2. Minimal to minor impacts from strong winds are possible within any of the areas under Wind Signal No. 1. The enhanced Southwest Monsoon and the periphery of Typhoon INDAY will bring strong to gale-force gusts over the following areas (especially in coastal and upland areas exposed to winds): Today and tomorrow (11 July): Most of the country. Sunday (12 July): Most of Luzon, most of Visayas, Zamboanga del Norte, Misamis Occidental, Lanao del Norte, Camiguin, and Davao Oriental HAZARDS AFFECTING COASTAL WATERS A Gale Warning is in effect over the northern and eastern seaboards of Northern Luzon and the eastern seaboard of Central Luzon. For more details, refer to Gale Warning No. 7 issued at 5:00 PM today. 24-Hour Sea Condition Outlook Up to very rough to high seas over the following coastal waters: Up to 7.0 m: The northern and eastern seaboards of Batanes. Up to 6.0 m: The seaboards of Babuyan Islands; the northeastern seaboard of mainland Cagayan; the remaining seaboard of Batanes. Up to 5.0 m: The remaining seaboards of mainland Cagayan. Up to 4.5 m: The seaboards of Isabela and northern Aurora. Sea travel is risky for all types or tonnage of vessels. All mariners must remain in port or, if underway, seek shelter or safe harbor as soon as possible until winds and waves subside. Up to rough seas over the following coastal waters: Up to 4.0 m: The northern seaboard of Ilocos Norte. Up to 3.5 m: The eastern seaboards of Polillo Islands, Albay, Sorsogon, and Eastern Samar; the seaboards of Camarines Norte; the northern seaboard of Camarines Sur; the northern and eastern seaboards of Catanduanes and Northern Samar. Up to 3.0 m: The seaboards of Ilocos Sur and Zambales; the western seaboards of Pangasinan, Bataan, Occidental Mindoro including Lubang Islands, and mainland Palawan including Kalayaan Islands; the northern seaboard of Polillo Islands; the eastern seaboards of Dinagat Islands, Siargao-Bucas Grande Islands, Surigao del Sur, and Davao Occidental; the northwestern seaboard of La Union; the remaining seaboards of Ilocos Norte and Aurora. Mariners of small seacrafts, including all types of motorbancas, are advised not to venture out to sea under these conditions, especially if inexperienced of operating ill-equipped vessels. Up to moderate to rough seas over the following coastal waters: Up to 2.5 m: The northern seaboard of mainland Quezon; the remaining seaboards of Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, CALABARZON, and Visayas. Up to 2.0 m: The seaboards of Caraga, Northern Mindanao, Zamboanga Peninsula, Bangsamoro, SOCCSKSARGEN, and Davao Region. Mariners of motorbancas and similarly sized vessels are advised to take precautionary measures while venturing out to sea and, if possible, avoid navigation under these conditions. Other coastal waters have forecast wave heights of less than 2.0 m. TRACK AND INTENSITY OUTLOOK It must be emphasized that heavy rainfall and severe winds may still be experienced in localities outside the landfall point and the forecast confidence cone. Refer to “Other Hazards affecting Land Areas” for more details. Furthermore, the track may still shift within the limit of the forecast confidence cone. INDAY is forecast to move northwestward towards the southern islands of Japan and the sea north of Taiwan. It will then exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by tomorrow (11 July) morning. INDAY is forecast to remain as a typhoon throughout the forecast period.

It is moving Northwestward at 20 km/h. Southwest Monsoon affecting Central and Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The 12-hour rainfall forecast is Light rains and thunderstorms.
