Mariners of motorbancas and similarly sized vessels are advised to take precautionary measures while venturing out to sea and, if possible, avoid navigation under these conditions. Other coastal waters have forecast wave heights of less than 2.0 m. TRACK AND INTENSITY OUTLOOK QUEENIE will move generally northeastward over the majority of the forecast period. On the forecast track, the center of QUEENIE may exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) between noon and afternoon. Outside the PAR, it will accelerate northeastward towards the sea south of mainland Japan. This tropical cyclone will intensify further while moving over the sea south of Okinawa Islands. After reaching its peak intensity, QUEENIE will begin to weaken by tomorrow (28 September).
