Severe heatwave conditions are expected to peak early this week then ease during the middle of the week. Locations likely to be impacted include Camooweal, Mount Isa and Urandangi.
The Diamantina River at Diamantina Lakes is at 6.17 m and steady, above the level of the Springvale Diamantina Lakes Road Causeway (2.10 m).
