Minnesota River at Morton affecting Redwood and Renville Counties.

  • A large system will bring multiple rounds of rain across the region tonight into Tuesday.

  • WHAT: Minor flooding is forecast.

  • WHERE: Minnesota River at Morton.

  • WHEN: From Thursday morning until further notice.

  • IMPACTS: At 23.0 feet, Riverside Rd and Front Street flooded in North Redwood.

  • ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

    • At 800 PM CDT Monday, the stage was 20.4 feet.
    • Forecast: The river is expected to rise to a crest near 21.5 feet early Saturday afternoon. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
