Critical Fire Weather Conditions Expected Thursday
- Gusty southwest winds, low relative humidity, and drought conditions will combine to cause critical fire weather conditions from Lake and Volusia counties southward through Osceola and Brevard counties during the afternoon and evening hours Thursday.
The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from noon to 8 PM EDT Thursday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.
