FLOODING POSSIBLE ACROSS THE FLOOD WATCH AREA DURING TUESDAY Ex-Tropical Cyclone Mitchell crossed the Gascoyne Coast early Tuesday morning. Moderate to heavy rainfall was observed across parts of the flood watch area overnight Monday into Tuesday and has resulted in isolated river level rises and flooding. The low is expected to track southeast for the remainder of Tuesday with moderate to heavy falls possible over the southern Gascoyne, Central West and Central Wheat belt during Tuesday, with local areas of intense rainfall possible around the southern parts of the Lower West District Rivers. This rainfall may cause further rises and flooding across the flood watch area. River level rises, localised flooding, and overland inundation are possible in parts of the Flood Watch area, which may affect road access. Some communities may become isolated. Check road conditions before travelling.
