An Air Quality Advisory for fine particles has been issued by The Eastgate Regional Council of Governments in partnership with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency for Mahoning and Trumbull counties. The advisory is from midnight tonight to midnight Friday night. A code PURPLE air quality alert means that air pollution concentrations within the local region are very unhealthy for the general population. The effects of air pollution can be minimized by avoiding outdoor exercise or strenuous activity.
