SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 202 REMAINS VALID UNTIL 2 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN KANSAS THIS WATCH INCLUDES 1 COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL KANSAS LINN IN MISSOURI THIS WATCH INCLUDES 10 COUNTIES IN CENTRAL MISSOURI COOPER HOWARD PETTIS SALINE IN NORTH CENTRAL MISSOURI CARROLL IN WEST CENTRAL MISSOURI BATES CASS HENRY JOHNSON LAFAYETTE THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ADRIAN, BELTON, BOONVILLE, BUTLER, CARROLLTON, CLINTON, CONCORDIA, FAYETTE, GLASGOW, HARRISONVILLE, HIGGINSVILLE, LA CYGNE, LEXINGTON, MARSHALL, MOUND CITY, NEW FRANKLIN, ODESSA, PLEASANT HILL, PLEASANTON, RAYMORE, RICH HILL, SEDALIA, WARRENSBURG, AND WINDSOR.
At 1044 AM CDT, Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen this morning. Heavy rainfall has ended. However, flash flooding continues as a result of this earlier rain. Transportation department officials report State Highway N is closed near Blairstown. Other roads are likely flooded in the warned area.
