In south central Virginia, Brunswick, Dinwiddie, Lunenburg, Mecklenburg, Nottoway and Prince George (including Hopewell and Petersburg). In southeast Virginia, Accomack, Greensville, Hampton/Poquoson, Isle of Wight, James City, Newport News, Southampton, Surry, Sussex and York.

- Showers and thunderstorms are expected to become more widespread tonight into early Thursday morning. An additional 2 to 3 inches of rain are possible with locally higher amounts. This will be in addition to any rain that occurred last evening into early this morning, which was highest from east-central Virginia to the Virginia Eastern Shore. This will maintain a flood threat through at least Thursday morning.
