During the annual Extreme Weather Congress in Hamburg (27th to 29th of September), extreme weather and climate change developments have been discussed.
In the last few weeks, different newspapers considered the meteoblue app in several weather app checks.
The subject was `Europe and droughts` at the European Meteorological Society (EMS) Meeting in Bratislava, from 3 to 8 September 2023. meteoblue contributed research results and solutions.
With the latest website improvements, you can now easily switch between hourly and 3-hourly data on the start page. And our satellite images now have much less background interference for better readability.
The history+ risk assessments have been re-designed, and you can now select between different weather models.
We celebrated our annual team event in Konstanz, Germany, end of July, with some fun team activities and challenges, which can be transferred to our daily operations and also eased the welcoming of our newcomers.
meteoblue supported this year’s Student Meteorology Conference (StuMeTa) in Innsbruck (Austria) with a donation.
In June, our website received further improvements. The 7-day weather forecast now has a very slick design. The radar forecast for Canada and the US was extended to 2 hours, and the radar composites improved.
The meteoblue team was invited for a short virtual excursion to Namibia and saw stunning pictures, and learned a lot about typical local weather patterns.
