Under present weather conditions, At 3:00 PM today, the center of the eye of Typhoon "INDAY" {BAVI} was estimated based on all available data at 780 km East of Aparri, Cagayan (18.7°N, 129.0°E) with maximum sustained winds of 165 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 205 km/h. It is moving West Northwestward at 20 km/h. Southwest Monsoon affecting Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao. The 12-hour rainfall forecast is moderate to occasionally heavy rains. WATERCOURSES LIKELY TO BE AFFECTED : + **Isabela** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Dikatayan, Divilacan and Palanan-Pinacanauan. + **Cagayan** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Linao, Lower Abulug, Lower Pamplona, Cabicungan, Aunugay, Baua, Palawig and Taboan. + **Batanes** - All rivers and its tributaries

A tropical cyclone will affect the the locality. Winds of 62 kph up to 88 kph may be expected in at least 24 hours. “INDAY” SLIGHTLY WEAKENS AS IT DECELERATES OVER THE PHILIPPINE SEA EAST OF NORTHERN LUZON. Location of eye/center : The center of Typhoon INDAY was estimated based on all available data at at 740 km East of Calayan, Cagayan (19.3, 128.5). Strength : Maximum winds of 155 kph near the centerand gustiness of up to 190 kph. Forecast movement : Forecast to move North Northwestward at 10 kph Forecast position : Jul 10, 2026 08:00 AM - 565 km East of Basco, Batanes Jul 10, 2026 08:00 PM - 440 km East Northeast of Itbayat, Batanes Jul 11, 2026 08:00 AM - 445 km North Northeast of Itbayat, Batanes Jul 11, 2026 08:00 PM - 615 km North of Itbayat, Batanes (OUTSIDE PAR) Jul 12, 2026 08:00 AM - 910 km North Northwest of Extreme Northern Luzon (OUTSIDE PAR) HAZARDS AFFECTING LAND AREAS Heavy Rainfall Outlook Refer to Weather Advisory No. 14 issued at 11:00 PM today for the heavy rainfall outlook due to TC INDAY and the Southwest Monsoon. Severe Winds The wind signals warn the public of the general wind threat over an area due to the tropical cyclone. Local winds may be slightly stronger/enhanced in coastal and upland/mountainous areas exposed to winds. Winds are less strong in areas sheltered from the prevailing wind direction. Minor to moderate impacts from gale-force winds are possible within any of the areas under Wind Signal No. 2. Minimal to minor impacts from strong winds are possible within any of the areas under Wind Signal No. 1. The enhanced Southwest Monsoon and the periphery of Typhoon INDAY will bring strong to gale-force gusts over the following areas (especially in coastal and upland areas exposed to winds): Today until Saturday (11 July): Most of the country. HAZARDS AFFECTING COASTAL WATERS A Gale Warning is in effect over the northern and eastern seaboards of Luzon, and the eastern seaboard of Visayas. For more details, refer to Gale Warning No. 5 issued at 5:00 PM today. 24-Hour Sea Condition Outlook Up to very rough seas over the following coastal waters: Up to 7.0 m: The northern and eastern seaboards of Batanes. Up to 6.0 m: The northern and eastern seaboards of Babuyan Islands; the northeastern seaboard of mainland Cagayan; the remaining seaboards of Batanes. Up to 5.0 m: The seaboard of Isabela; the northern and eastern seaboards of Catanduanes; the remaining seaboards of mainland Cagayan and Babuyan Islands. Up to 4.5 m: The seaboards of Aurora and Camarines Norte; the northern and eastern seaboards of Polillo Islands and Camarines Sur; the eastern seaboard of Northern Samar; the northeastern seaboard of Eastern Samar; the northern seaboard of Ilocos Norte. Sea travel is risky for all types or tonnage of vessels. All mariners must remain in port or, if underway, seek shelter or safe harbor as soon as possible until winds and waves subside. Up to rough seas over the following coastal waters: Up to 4.0 m: The northern seaboards of mainland Quezon and Northern Samar; the eastern seaboards of Albay, Sorsogon, and Dinagat Islands; the remaining eastern seaboard of Eastern Samar. Up to 3.5 m: The eastern seaboard of Bucas Grande-Siargao Islands and Surigao del Sur; the eastern and southern seaboards of Davao Oriental; the remaining seaboards of Catanduanes. Up to 3.0 m: The seaboards of Marinduque, Romblon, Masbate, and Caluya Islands; the western seaboards of Ilocos Norte, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro including Lubang Islands; the southern seaboard of Quezon; the southern and eastern seaboards of Oriental Mindoro. Mariners of small seacrafts, including all types of motorbancas, are advised not to venture out to sea under these conditions, especially if inexperienced of operating ill-equipped vessels. Up to moderate to rough seas over the following coastal waters: Up to 2.5 m: The seaboards of Cuyo Islands, Cagayancillo Islands, and Antique; the western seaboards of Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, and Negros Occidental; the southern seaboards of Iloilo and Guimaras; the remaining seaboards of Camarines Sur, Albay, Sorsogon, and Northern Samar. Up to 2.0 m: The seaboards of Siquijor, Southern Leyte, Camiguin, Misamis Oriental, and Zamboanga del Norte; the remaining seaboards of Iloilo, Guimaras, Negros Occidental, and Eastern Samar; the southern seaboards of Negros Oriental, Cebu, Bohol, Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, and Davao Occidental. Mariners of motorbancas and similarly sized vessels are advised to take precautionary measures while venturing out to sea and, if possible, avoid navigation under these conditions. Other coastal waters have forecast wave heights of less than 2.0 m. TRACK AND INTENSITY OUTLOOK It must be emphasized that heavy rainfall and severe winds may still be experienced in localities outside the landfall point and the forecast confidence cone. Refer to “Other Hazards affecting Land Areas” for more details. Furthermore, the track may still shift within the limit of the forecast confidence cone. INDAY is forecast to generally move northwestward while remaining over the Philippine Sea and may pass closest to Extreme Northern Luzon between tomorrow (10 July) evening and Saturday (11 July) morning. Afterwards, INDAY will move toward the southern islands of Japan and may make landfall or pass close over the northern coast of Taiwan. It will then exit the PAR by Saturday (11 July) morning or afternoon and make landfall over the eastern coast of mainland China by Saturday evening or Sunday (12 July) early morning. INDAY is forecast to remain as a typhoon until it exits the PAR. It will then weaken into a severe tropical storm after moving further inland over mainland China.
