WHERE: Portions of central and southwestern Southeast Fairbanks including the following areas, southeastern portions of Delta Junction, eastern portions of the Eastern Alaska Range North and South of Trims Camp, and western portions of the Upper Tanana Valley. This includes Dry Creek, Dot Lake, Tanacross, and Tok.

IMPACTS: Minor flooding in low-lying areas along creeks, streams, and smaller tributaries. Water over low-lying roadways. Some low-water crossings may become impassable.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- At 919 PM AKDT, trained weather spotters reported heavy rain in the advisory area due to showers and thunderstorms over the past 6 days. An observer at Robertson River, about 27 miles west-northwest of Tok, reported 1.45 inches of rain between 8 AM Monday and 8 PM Tuesday and 3.21 inches of rain over the past 6 days. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Between 0.5 and 3.25 inches of rain have fallen over portions of the eastern Alaska Range. Minor flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected through Wednesday evening.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include, Higher terrain areas, creeks, and tributaries along and south of the Tanana River including areas near and south of Dot Lake, Dry Creek, Tanacross, and Tok.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.
