At 1136 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen this evening. Although much of the rain has ended across the Warning area, extensive areas of flooding persist across Harrison County as well as the Shreveport,Bossier City areas. Isolated showers and thunderstorms may redevelop, and if they do, could produce additional rainfall amounts of up to 0.5 inches. Flash flooding is already occurring.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
