Another round of heavy rainfall is expected tonight through early Saturday across portions of southern and central Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Rainfall totals of 2 to 4 inches are expected by Saturday afternoon with locally higher amounts of 5+ inches possible across south central Minnesota. Rainfall rates may exceed 1"/hour at times.

  • WHAT: Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.

  • WHERE: Portions of Minnesota, including the following areas, Anoka, Blue Earth, Carver, Dakota, Faribault, Freeborn, Goodhue, Hennepin, Le Sueur, McLeod, Nicollet, Ramsey, Rice, Scott, Sibley, Steele, Waseca, Washington and Wright and west central Wisconsin, including the following areas, Dunn, Pepin, Pierce and St. Croix.

  • WHEN: Through Saturday afternoon.

  • IMPACTS: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
