WHEN: Until 545 PM CDT.

IMPACTS: Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Underpasses may be flooded. Roads and streets may be flooded.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- At 316 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated ongoing showers across the area, with a trend toward diminishing rainfall rates. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen so far. A few public reports have been received of standing water on area roadways.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in isolated areas due to ongoing light rain.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include, Englewood, Grand Crossing, Hyde Park, South Shore, Chatham, Avalon Park, South Chicago, Auburn Gresham community areas of Chicago. Evergreen Park, Hometown, Oak Lawn, Chicago Ridge.
