The moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, western part of Thailand and the Gulf while the low-pressure cell covers the North and the Northeast regions. More rains and scattered heavy rains are likely in the country while isolated very heavy rains are possible in the North, the Northeast, the Central, the East and the South(west coast).
People should beware of the severe conditions that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially, along waterways and lowlands, and take more caution in thundershowers. All ships in the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
