The cut-off low (COL) coupled with the ridging Indian high pressure system is expected to bring scattered to widespread rains and snowfall over some of the high-lying areas on Wednesday (29rd June). Very cold weather conditions can be anticipated on Thursday, 04th and Friday, 05th .Temperatures are expected to improve from Sunday 07th.
The nation is hereby advised to take precautions on the said dates as the expected conditions have a likelihood of hindering or affecting safe movement to or from the highlands.
